PhoneSoap: Excellent Addition to Any Home
In the last ten years or so, there seems to have been a revival of holistic, non-toxic ways to keep your home clear of all germs and bacteria. The conundrum is how to get the deep clean without the harsh cleaners? The battle is even harder when you take into consideration that the areas that pose the biggest health concern are often the areas that are the most unnoticed. One area that is of most concern are smartphones - these wonderfully convenient little contraptions go everywhere we go, and often carry reminders all the way into our homes, including germs and bacteria that you fight so diligently in your home. How clean can we really get our phones? Do we have to constantly be spraying our phones with speciality phone cleaners that may not even work? When you’re fighting the germs on multiple devices, the constant wiping and cleaning can be daunting.
If this sounds like you, the PhoneSoap may be the device for your home. Designed as in-home answer to phone germs and cleanliness, the PhoneSoap is a unit designed to disinfect your various devices via UV light power. With a simple design and hinged door, you simply drop your phone into the PhoneSoap’s inner chamber and wait between 10-15 minutes for your phone to emerge squeaky clean and free of all those pesky germs. No solutions, no agents, and you don’t even have to give up charging your phone while it’s cleaning.
Unlike my previous articles, I honestly have no qualms with this products! Even though I don’t have the means to check scientifically how well everything cleans, I can say that the peace of mind it brings at the end of the day is wonderful. I work in an area where a lot of customers come through, often with germs clinging to them. I hate the idea of germs coming home with me on my phone, and I especially hate the feeling of when my phone comes in contact with any part of the restroom. It skeeves me out to even think about this, and having PhoneSoap at home is a huge help.
Some of the PhoneSoap’s Highlights (plus highlights of the company):
- The PhoneSoap unit is not difficult to use - simply plug it in, place your phone into the disinfecting chamber, and you’re good to go!
- The PhoneSoap can disinfect phones with cases on as well!
- The PhoneSoap will disinfect itself after you remove your phone and close the lid, insuring a clean chamber every time.
Additionally, PhoneSoap as a company has developed the PhoneSoap XL, a unit designed to clean large objects such as remotes and tablets! They also have units that ensure a medical-grade level of clean for use in the professional sector. While these units may seem a little costly, I’m extremely happy with the fact that someone has thought to bring disinfecting power to the hands of the public.
Final Thoughts
Many people in the world depend on having their homes free and clear of any germs or bacteria, not to mention those who work in environments where the threat of getting sick is always looming over them. While I would like to see PhoneSoap produce a line of screen cleaning agents to ensure a good, overall clean to screens as well (goodbye fingerprint gunk), this has been an excellent addition to my home and, with my Blueair purifier, has helped to ensure that I spend the winter and spring illness-free!
