RTI Offers Three Manufacturer Product Training Sessions at CEDIA EXPO 2015

MINNEAPOLIS — Oct. 8, 2015 — Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI), a leading control and automation systems manufacturer for residential and light commercial settings, today announced that the company is offering three manufacturer product training sessions at CEDIA EXPO 2015 in Dallas, Texas. The courses, “Building a Better User Interface With RTI,” “RTI Intercom, Z-Wave, and Distributed Audio Control Programming,” and “Large-Scale Product Control With RTI,” will all take place on Oct. 16 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in room C140.

“Building a Better User Interface With RTI” (course code MPTRT004-1), held from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., will discuss how the user interface is the most important part of any control system, providing an in-depth look at how RTI’s award-winning Integration Designer® programming software can create the ideal user interface, including custom buttons, pop-up menus, and time-saving techniques.

“RTI Intercom, Z-Wave, and Distributed Audio Control Programming” (course code MPTRT005-1), held from 1:30-3:00 p.m., will highlight RTI’s CEDIA Product Hall of Fame Integration Designer software and how it embraces new technology such as Z-Wave. This class will focus on the programming and control of RTI’s new intercom capabilities and Z-Wave control along with group audio zone control using the RTI AD-64 driver.

“Large-Scale Product Control With RTI” (course code MPTRT006-1), held from 3:30-5:00 p.m., will focus on the capability of RTI products and Integration Designer to tackle large-venue installations, top to bottom. Attendees will learn how to program and control large-scale projects using RTI control processors, expansion devices, and local area networks to meet project requirements.

“Each year at CEDIA we look forward to providing our dealers with valuable training sessions to help them remain competitive in the market,” said Tyler Nelson, director of training for RTI. “These three training courses demonstrate the versatility of our powerful programming software and its ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technology. Whether it’s programming the ultimate user interface, tackling large-venue installations, or integrating intercom and Z-Wave, attendees will leave with more skills and confidence, which translates to a win for the end user.”

Each training session being offered is worth 0.75 continuing education units (CEU). Attendees may enroll in manufacturer product training sessions as part of the registration process or add them to their existing registration at https://events.itnint.com/CEDIA15/RegOnline/RegLogin.aspx.
