Experience Christie’s Stunning On-Ice Projection Mapping Using Boxer and Pandoras Box

Christie’s North American Debut of Boxer 2K and Christie HS Series

Live mapping could not have gotten more beautiful than with Christie’s new Christie Boxer 2K30 projector at this year’s NAB Show. I was literally stunned… caught in my tracks! We could not hold back but experience… the… beauty! Four of the projectors delivered truly an amazing on-ice projection mapping display featuring Pandoras Box 5.9 media servers tracking on-ice objects - I loved that lovely ice truck! So cute, don’t you think?! Launched just a few months ago, the Christie Boxer 2K30 is 4K upgradeable. Omnidirectional, the Boxer Series is purrr-fect for any large venue event.

Christie also showcased its Christie FHQ981-L flat panel, two Christie D13HD-HS laser phosphor projectors and the Christie Captiva DHD400S that featured an ultra short throw lens.

On display was the Christie FHQ842-T UHD with Layer Logic’s touch control. Pandoras Box 5.9 gesture based interactivity with Airscan was demonstrated on the 4 x 8 Christie® MicroTiles® display. Content was managed by the Christie Spyder X20 video processor.

Christie Velvet Wall Displays Content Managed by Pandoras Box

We enjoyed Christie® Velvet® LED - which was displayed in 1.5, 1.9, 2.5, 3.0 and 4.0-millimeter pixel pitch configurations along one wall.

If you stayed at the Westgate while at NAB, you may have had the chance to experience Christie Velvet at the Westgate Resort & Casino SportsBook. And did you know that over 320 Christie® MicroTiles® were behind each presidential hopeful at the CNN Democratic Party presidential debate in Las Vegas? Yep. They were! And, so stunning!

Pandoras Box powered a 2 x 2 Christie FHD552-X HD flat panel display while also managing content of a 3D clock tower projection mapping display featuring the Christie Roadster HD14K-M.
