YBLTV Review – Arozzi Visione VX-600
Computer glasses have been around for a few years now, and personally I can’t say that I know anyone who uses them. So when Arozzi’s Visione came across my desk, I was excited to see what it was all about for myself.
I opted for the frameless Visione VX-600 model, for no other reason than I don’t care for the look of glasses frames on my face. Simple enough. The lightweight model was very similar to the glasses that I wear on a typical day. The packaging impressed me, as Arozzi seems to have gone above and beyond here. With your glasses, you receive a carbon fiber styled clamshell hard case, a soft sleeve to store them in when not in use, a microfiber cloth for cleaning, replacement nose pads, and even a keychain eye glass repair screwdriver. I naively expected the glasses and a microfiber cloth in a cardboard box, end of story.
Since I received the Visione VX-600, I’ve kept them by my computer, only to find myself wearing them throughout the house in place of my regular glasses. I do not recommend this if your vision is such that corrective lenses are required. The effect that the Visione has on your screens is similar to that of buying light bulbs for your home: A bare screen is like a ‘daylight’ bright bulb, while through the Visione glasses is like looking at a ‘soft white’ bulb. Colors are a bit warmer, and easier on the eyes. As such, you have no problem working in front of those screens, whether writing articles like this, or taking down the next big raid in your favorite MMORPG.

“I’ve kept my Arozzi Visione VX-600 by my computer, only to find myself wearing them throughout the house” – Patrick Mackey, YBLTV Writer / Reviewer @mackeyp42
My first impression of the Visione were skeptical. I didn’t really think a pair of glasses could make the difference when sitting in front of a screen. I have to say, I am happily corrected. I have had a pair on for 5 hours straight while sitting in my office working on a variety of projects, as well as a couple of games. You forget that you even have them on, until you walk by a reflective surface.
