The Wind-Blox Pro Blows Away Expectations

YBLTV Review: Wind-Blox Pro

I am self-admittedly a novice cyclist, using anything down to a windy day to convince me to skip a ride. However, that is no longer an excuse I can use. The Wind-Blox Pro I received to review from Wind-Blox is exactly what it says, but better.

Functionality

Living in Arizona is full of heat and wind, causing less-than-optimal conditions for riders. For as much wind as I would normally have rushing past my ears, with the Wind-Blox Pro, I had none. Cyclists need to be aware of their surroundings at all times, which places a great emphasis on hearing. By blocking the wind from your ears, the Wind-Blox Pro actually improves your hearing, and thus your safety, while riding. They were simple to attach with their Velcro strap, but that means they’re fragile, so wash carefully after a ride.

Comfort

While not the most important feature when safety is the foremost concern, this product is incredibly comfortable. In fact, the only reason you would notice the Wind-Blox Pro is because of how great a job it does at protecting your ears.

  • Not machine-washable
  • Lack of customization

Final Thoughts

The price could be be a bit lower, considering these are $17.95 for a pair. However, that would just be a preference of excellent ear protection provided by Wind-Blox Pro, or not. For as much wind as I would normally have rushing past my ears, with the Wind-Blox Pro, I had none. I highly recommend picking up a pair for your next ride! Visit Wind-Blox website.
