YBLTV Review & Giveaway: OWC Envoy Pro mini.

Little Size, Immense Power in the OWC Envoy Pro Mini

YBLTV Giveaway: OWC Envoy Pro mini

YBLTV Review & Giveaway: OWC Envoy Pro Mini

The OWC Envoy Pro mini I received to review is unassuming, but with the ability to hold 120 GB and reach speeds of 427 MB/S, it is nothing but the Ferrari of flash drives. Initially, the Envoy Pro mini from OWC did not appear extraordinary; that is, until I plugged it in.

The Need for Speed

Now, the Envoy Pro mini delivers on its promise of space. With the 120GB model, the room is immense, saving your computer from unnecessary add-ons. A 240GB capacity is also available. Where the flash drive really shines, however, is in its speed. Even with run-of-the-mill 8GB flash drives, the time it takes to load up is needlessly slow. However, the Envoy Pro mini takes just a few seconds, especially impressive when considering its capacity.

Pros

  • ample storage space
  • phenomenal speed
  • lightweight, extremely portable
  • dual platform
  • great 3-year warranty

Cons

  • none

Specifications

Fast USB 3.0 interface, the Envoy Pro mini comes with both an 18″ lanyard and an 18″extension cable to reach awkward USB ports. Considering the moderate price tag of around $120 for the 120GB model, these are not the most essential features.
