YBLTV Giveaway: Beessential Foaming Hand Soaps

Safe and Non-Toxic Hand Soap – Beessentials

You wouldn’t think of hand soap as dangerous, but unfortunately, most popular brands remain filled with artificial fragrances, chemicals, synthetic dyes, and toxic surfactants. If you wash your hands with most of the hand soaps on store shelves you could be putting yourself at risk.

For instance, antibacterial hand soap reduces your body’s ability to fight off certain illnesses and can harm/kill your body’s good cells. In children, these types of soaps can hinder a child’s immune system from developing properly. If this happens it makes them more susceptible to allergies and certain diseases. Parabens are another toxic chemical found in hand soaps and disrupt human hormones. Since Parabens can mimic estrogen in the body, some types of Parabens are found in breast tumors. *

Beessential Foaming Hand Soap

Overview

Beessentials hand-makes lip balms, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, lotions, hand soaps, and more. With ingredients like honey and beeswax from their family farm in Ohio, you know they take great pride in their product. All of the ingredients Beessential’s uses are natural and free of harsh chemicals and toxic ingredients like SLS, parabens, and sulfates. Only the purest and best ingredients make up their products. You can feel safe putting all of their products on your body. Another awesome feature of Beessentials is 10% of their profits are donated to a charity of your choice! Awesome, right?!

Luckily, I got the chance to try out their 3 different scents of foaming hand soap. Detailed below are my first impressions and overall thoughts on Beessential foaming hand soaps.

First Impressions

When I received the product in the mail and took the soaps out of the box, I felt thoroughly impressed with the size of the soap bottles. They are large so you know you are getting a generous amount of soap for the rather inexpensive price of $7.99 per bottle. The foaming soaps come in a fun yellow bottle, which I thought was a nice touch. Clearly labeled on the bottle, their soap is cruelty-free, made in the USA, and made with 100% natural ingredients. I love that I can pronounce all of the ingredients and that the soap’s scented using essential oils. Nothing toxic or scary here!

Additionally, the package also came with a business card and an awesome brochure. In the brochure, they list ingredients they use, their different products, and they have an overview of the company.

Peppermint and Aloe

This scent has a strong smell of peppermint, which I think is great for having in the kitchen to neutralize odors on your hands from cooking. I like to use it after chopping garlic or onions because it gets rid of the smell on my fingers completely.

Grapefruit and Lemongrass

Grapefruit and Lemongrass is my favorite scent from Beessential! The soap smells fresh, fruity, citrusy, and crisp. It is also a really great kitchen soap to neutralize odors as well. Since Beessential scents their soap with essential oils, the aroma of the soap smells exactly like you just cut open a ripe grapefruit.

Lavender with Bergamot

This one smells wonderful too and is a great bathroom hand soap. Lavender is known for its calming properties and Beessential soap is filled with the relaxing scent of lavender. It may sound a little strange, but taking a sniff off the soap before washing your hands feels warm and calming. It’s also nice that the scent lingers for a bit after washing your hands so you can reap the calming properties of lavender for longer.

Lavender pairs perfectly with the bergamot too. Bergamot is the main ingredient in earl gray tea, which I adore. If you love earl gray, you’ll definitely love this hand soap too!

Final Thoughts

This soap is the best of the best. From the ingredients to the scents, Beessentials foaming hand soap is clean, smells wonderful, and doesn’t dry out your hands. You know how sometimes when you wash your hands they feel dry and itchy? Not with Beessentials. My hands feel soft and moisturized, not dry and irritated.
