The Holidays are Now Here with the World’s First Caffeinated Toothpaste: Power Toothpaste
I’ll be honest with you. I’ve had many all-nighters working into the late hours on project after project…
And believe me, those all-nighters are WAY more difficult to recover from than when you are a sophomore in college. Ah… I’m sure we can all remember those days!
So, I am sadly, too often faced with a Huge Feat:
- Catching as much sleep as possible; and
- Waking up from that ever-so-short-sleep
- Having enough energy and alertness throughout the day
I am also a big believer of all-things-aromatherapy. From sniffing essential peppermint oil throughout the day for focus and concentration to sniffing essential lavender oil before I go to bed. The stuff works for me – go figure!
So, I am sure then, you can understand how interested I am in trying a toothpaste that claims to have a JOLT of caffeine in it: Power Toothpaste – the world’s first caffeinated toothpaste. I have never heard of such a thing – have you?!
Ian and Dan, the co-founders of Power Toothpaste say one pea-size serving contains roughly the same amount of caffeine as a medium cup of coffee. They also say it tastes minty… which after using it several times, I didn’t really feel as strong of a mint taste as I have compared with other toothpaste brands. Now, that isn’t a bad thing. I am extremely loyal to brands. For years, I’ve been brushing my teeth with Arm & Hammer.
After using Power Toothpaste however, I am happy to say that it is a very nice diversion… an engaging alternative that truly provides a powerful JOLT. I am really starting to get addicted! Power Toothpaste is really different, but now after brushing for a few weeks – I can really feel the caffeine.
When I’ve brushed with Arm & Hammer, the MINT taste lingers in my mouth. But after I brush with Power Toothpaste, the taste that lingers is not a MINT, but, indeed a bold JOLT — that is, if jolt could actually be a flavor! It feels like the caffeine itself. You just gotta try it to experience it. I have never before tasted any toothpaste like it. And trust me, I’ve tried many, many brands.
Power Toothpaste is fluoride-free. Below is a list of its ingredients:
- calcium carbonate
- PEG-40 dehydrogenated castor oil
- natural flavor
- carboxymethyl cellulose
- citric acid
- sodium citrate
- sodium lauryl sulfate
- titanium dioxide
What’s the cost for a 2.5 oz tube of Power Toothpaste you ask? $14.99… That may be a little pricey for some folks – but hey, the holidays are here! Time to splurge. And who knows your splurge might be very habit-forming in a good way! Five ounce tubes of toothpaste can retail for around $4 and change.
Here’s to whipping out a tube of Power Toothpaste to experience not only clean teeth, but more wonderfully the JOLT we all desperately need for recovering from all-nighters at any age.
