Buzz has been stirring about Apple’s iPhone 6 since prior to its muchanticipated release at the end of 2014. This should come as no surprise to both loyal and skeptical Apple consumers considering that the phone comes standard with a 4.7 inch screen with retina HD display, an 8mp camera with auto focus and HDR, touch ID, Siri voice control, Apple Pay, and an attractively innovative yet traditional design. Many consumers have given exceedingly positive reviews of the iPhone 6 but customers also have a few concerns.
One major concern is the durability of the product. Customers began to notice that the phone actually bent while in pockets soon after its release. Videos of the bending phones went viral and critics were quick to attack the durability of the iPhone 6. Though this is a major concern it has been stated by Apple that this issue impacts an extremely small number of consumers. Apple believes that the standard consumer will find the phone to be both durable as well as reliable.
No one product will be perfect but many consumers believe that the iPhone 6 comes pretty close with the exception of the possible bending of the phone body and the occasional battery life complaint. Apple does have a few quirks to continue to work out, however, the iPhone 6 appears to live up to its hype.
