Illustrator and author Daryl Slaton’s offers up lighthearted stories and characters at the 2015 Licensing Expo Show in Vegas June 9-11, at Booth G21. This amusing storyteller will display three illustrated narratives readily developed for publishing, product licensing, video and animation.
The Big Show: Slaton’s Tails of Whimsy Storybook Studio has partnered with Art Moose Studios to stage a video interview with puppet newscaster Scooter D. Pup at Booth B12 on Tuesday, June 10 at 5:15. Be there to cheer on Slaton as puppeteer and editor Jenn Gaudet of Walter Foster who will be talking about her fun new book, “DIY: Dog Portraits.” Stick around for “Selfies With Scooter” and pet tag giveaways.

Launching: Scooter News Network (SNN), a pilot for children’s TV show using liveaction, animation and puppetry with fun features on animal rescue, care and conservation worldwide. For TV and/or webcast, the show blends nightly newscasts with interview segments such as seen on the Today and/or Tonight Shows. Regular features include content targeted to kids 4-9: Animal Health, Sports, Celebrity, and Book Reports as well as cooking and crafts features, all with puppet Scooter as news broadcaster.
Presenting: The Mighty Machines of Mackie McKeens (M4) bringing tales of invention and engineering to children 2-5, primed to books and toys. Cuddly and inventive, this endearing bear, his daredevil sister Mika and their crew of mini-bots build Seussian contraptions for land, sea and sky.
Introducing: The Book Mytes, featuring seven cuddly critters who prove the power of just a few words when they build new stories from books found in bookstores. Jammies, plush and dreamy room décor are natural extensions for this precious property.
