YBLTV spoke with Michael Deitz, Senior Group Manager for Connected Car Owner Programs at Hyundai Motor America at the 2015 International CES to learn more about their next generation Blue Link technology.  Not simply more advanced, it is now integrated with a smartwatch app with features like Flash Lights, Sound Horn and Pay Parking Meter.  Michael tells us that the focus here is about adding safety to your drive via the “pre-drive experience” with features like Remote Start, Door Lock and Unlock and Find My Car…all from your smartwatch using touch or voice commands.  Michael says the idea is to keep it simple, and keep it secure.  What if someone gets a hold of your watch? just like banking, your smartphone features a PIN authentication code.
